Senior Research Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Perform due diligence of listed companies in HK, China and Taiwan
• Conduct Industry/ sector analysis and review and identify good investment opportunities.
• Conduct company visits and management interviews as part of the investment due diligence.
• Build Financial Models and provide suggestions on investment targets.
• Able to respond rapidly, with good team work and proactive attitude.

Requirements:

• Degree on Economics, Accounting, Finance or BBA. MBA qualification preferred.
• CFA qualification is a must-have.
• 3-5 years of research experience focusing on Greater China (either in HK, China, or Taiwan)
• Experience of working in major financial institutions or hedge funds preferred.
• Familiar with excel and able to build financial model independently.
• Can digest annual reports and identify catalysts rapidly.
• Good knowledge on different asset classes and sectors.
• Please mention in the application whether the applicant has any specialized industry expertise and sector knowledge.
• Experience on supervision of junior analysts is preferred.
• Experience in using financial information terminals preferred.
• Independent, mature, self-discipline, willing to work hard, good analysis ability, proactive with good team work attitude.
